Naruto: Manga and anime
Naruto is a popular Japanese manga and anime series created by Masashi Kishimoto. The story follows the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village who seeks recognition from his peers and dreams of becoming the village's leader, the Hokage. Along the way, he makes friends and enemies, learns new jutsu (ninja techniques), and battles against powerful adversaries. The series began serialization in 1999 and ended in 2014, with 720 episodes of the anime adaptation airing between 2002 and 2007. The series has also spawned numerous films, video games, and spin-off manga.
